About
Copper Basin Golf Club
For more than 100 years, Copper Basin Golf Club has been a cornerstone of the community, offering a welcoming place to play, gather, and enjoy the beauty of the Appalachian foothills. What began as a local course built on small-town spirit has grown into a beloved destination where golfers of all ages and skill levels feel at home.
CBGC is now under new ownership, but the hands guiding it aren’t new to this community. Our family has called this area home and served it as local business owners for over 85 years, and we’re honored to carry that same tradition of hard work and hometown pride onto the golf course. This isn’t just a business to us, it’s a piece of the community we’ve loved for years, and we’re treating it with the care and attention it deserves.
We’re investing in the course’s future while holding on to everything that’s always made it special. You’ll find historic charm alongside freshly maintained fairways and greens, creating a warm, approachable round for everyone, from lifelong golfers to kids picking up a club for the first time. With a genuine commitment to hospitality and thoughtful improvements, we’re focused on making every visit relaxed, friendly, and memorable for your whole family. From a new clubhouse and pavilion to new carts and a cart barn and even pickleball courts, we’re hoping to invest in a thoughtful space to foster our community.
Whether you’re here for a casual round with the kids, a friendly match with friends, or just to soak in the scenery, we’re proud to carry forward a century of golf in the Copper Basin. Our family looks forward to welcoming yours, not just today, but for the next hundred years to come!
